Check out sourceforge.net/p/windirstatfree/1. What is this? The preparations by SF.net to take over the project on their platform or some third party registering it for some unknown reason?
Either way, please do not trust downloads that may be provided there in the future.

I am not sure how if
found what I am looking for. There is a space taking up about one third of my desk top on my I Pad. In this space it says “No Shared Space” I have no idea how to get rid of it. I have only down loaded a few papers my grandson wanted me to read, a few pictures, and junk email that I need to delete. I am not technologically adept and could use some help. I didn’t understand the information on this site.
If you could in any help me I would appreciate it.

You guys should really stop using SourceForge and remove all links to it from your website/blog. They have basically sold their soul and started packaging adware and malware into every download.
PS: You could just host the binaries in your bitbucket repository itself for download. Maximum transparency/security, minimum hassle for you and zero cost.
It’s worth noting that SourceForge was acquired a few months ago, the new owners are committed to undoing all the previous nastiness. No forced installer/wrapper, no malware, etc.
So far, they have kept their word.

Are you aware of the ‘Donate’ button on the sourceforge? It redirects to a paypal donation page with a donation addressed to ‘oliver@windirstat.info’.
Is it legit? Does the `windirstat.info` belong to you?

Hi, yep it’s legit. windirstat.info used to be the default. In fact windirstat.net had been “occupied” by someone else for years until I was able to get it. Initially I would have preferred .net. Both point to the same content (and mailboxes). But you’re right, to avoid this sort of confusion I should perhaps update it.
